Camper van Trip 2022

Some ideas are so wild and crazy that at some point there is only one of two things to do – either A: implement it, or B: completely forget about it. I chose A.

After a year and a half of preparations, worries, thoughts, dreams, imaginations, and after more than once thinking 'I'll give up', I finally get behind the steering wheel on a Monday morning in March 2022 and turn the key.

The journey is underway, and if everything goes according to plan, I won't be back on Danish soil for another five months.

I have always been committed to the idea that the adventure lies in the random, the unplanned and especially in what sometimes seems scary. So when I drew the original red line through the continent, it was with the conviction that the route would change. And it did.
