In eighth grade, I did an internship at the local photo shop. After the two weeks, I received a camera as a thank you for my efforts. My first camera! – and I have been hooked on photography ever since.

In my work as a graphic designer for almost 40 years – including 35 years as a freelancer with Mus og Pen (www.musogpen.dk) – I am in contact with images every day. Either to select, retouch or take photos. My passion for photography has become a lifelong love affair. Images can spark the imagination in a way that video cannot. The small fraction of a second that a photograph freezes can tell dramatic stories, create dreams and set longings in motion.
