Hi, I'm Bo. Last name Funder. I was born in 1967 in a small town in Denmark. Today I am blessed with three adult boys, their girlfriends and recently also a grandchild. In 2023 I met my coming wife in a small mountain village in Sicily – she is canadian. I fell in love with her, the town and a 100 year old town house on the same day. The meeting changed my life, and in 2024 I bought the old house and moved from Denmark to Italy. Today we live in a triangle between Sicily, Denmark and Canada, I always have my camera ready – either my Canon M6 Mark II or my iPhone 17 Pro, or both. I believe in pushing my comfort zone constantly, to make sure I keep growing. I am focused on taking my dreams seriously – big or small, dreams are important for us. I am a passionate mountain biker and love to find new paths and trails, also in life in general. In 2022 I went on a five month campervan trip alone through 16 countries in Europe – you can read all about the trip in the link to the left, and also see photos from the journey. In my work as a graphic designer for almost 40 years – including 35 years as a freelancer with Mus og Pen (www.musogpen.dk) – I am in contact with images every day. Either to select, edit, retouch or take photos. My passion for photography has become a lifelong love affair. Images can spark the imagination in a way that video cannot. The small fraction of a second that a photograph freezes can tell dramatic stories, create dreams and set longings in motion.
